Faith is a strong word, and even a stronger essence in the face of adversity. It is not an easy task to keep a strong faith, especially when and if you're facing the hardships of life. Faith is believing with all your heart. Faith is what's keeping you strong. Faith is an important essence of life itself. Faith have kept a lot of people to keep on going throughout history. Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, the Prophet Mohamed; just to name a few. Have you ever wondered why so many people have uttered the words "Have Faith"? Yes, to have Faith is to live a life that feels complete and with a sense of purpose. Without Faith we would just live a life without Hope. To have Faith is to believe in something good even though when everything is wrong. Have Faith, as with Faith all is not yet lost. Now, where did i misplaced my Faith?

As a child and all the way up to my early teen years I've always been almost fanatically interested on everything Roman, Greek, and Egyptian; specifically on its early civilization and culture. So once i read a story on Pandora's box which is a pretty popular Greek mythology. To cut the blogging short, the story basically starts off with a young women living in a world where there is no pain and suffering. It is a world as before we knew it. Its utopia, where everybody is happy including this young women whose name is Pandora. So one day, one of these Greek god ( I've forgotten which one), gave a box to Pandora. But he told Pandora not to open the box. Yes, so you guess what Pandora did- she opened the box out of curiosity. Once she opened the box a gush of black stuff went out of the box, it was horrifying, so Pandora quickly tried to close the box back. But it was too late, as all the black stuff already went out. The black stuff were actually pain, suffering, sadness and all the things bad in the world. So from there on there is no more utopia, it has become the world as we know it. Pandora regretted what she did, but there were no use. So thinking that it couldn't be more worse than it already is, she decided to open the box one more time. And when she opened the box came out a little white stuff floating away, and its called Hope. There it was, the last of the box's contains- Hope.Even though it is just a myth, I believe the story is trying to tell us that with all the pain, sadness and suffering, there is Hope at the end. There's always Hope there. And i believe that is part of the reason why humankind keeps on going against it all.
The general population of women gets more expensive with age (if not most population). Really. If you don't believe me, lets follow my train of thoughts below:
- Age 1-5: Diapers, common baby stuff, cute pink baby clothes, cool pram, etc.
- Age 6-11: Barbie dolls, big dollhouse you can go inside, cookery toys (masak2 toys for BM), etc.
- Age 12-14: Mobile phones, Avon beauty products and make-up, etc.
- Age 15- 17: Body glove/ Converse sneakers, Body shop perfume and make-ups, etc.
- Age 18-20: Handbags, Stilettos from Vinci, Clothes from Giordano, Seed, British India, etc.
- Age 21- 24: Jimmy Choo's, Clothes from High end shops, Handbags from Coach, etc.
- Age 24- 30: Expensive cars (Mercedes, Porsche, BMW, etc.), Nice expensive bungalows, apartments, or penthouse in a nice location, etc. Perhaps an expensive wedding as well.
- Age 30-35: Expensive work handbags, Christian Louboutin's shoes, another expensive car, various expensive furniture, etc.
- Age 35-45: Botox for the sagging face, slimming centre for the sagging body, vacations to expensive place around the world, extension for the expensive house etc.
Now, i could go on and on about how expensive women gets with age. But.. you get the idea. If you're still single, you carry all the burden of expenditure to yourself (or your awesome parents will lend their credit cards). If you have a bf or gf perhaps they will spend some on you. But if you're married, good luck to the men. I think they will carry all, if not most of the expenditure. Now, this post might or might not be true, but it does apply to some women in general. Mostly its satirical. All i can say is that, Men, be prepared as you have been warned. Women can be a little bit expensive ;).
And for those of you men who plan to have more than one women in your life, read the above post first. Especially if plan to keep all of them beautiful and satisfied.
For some of you who do read my blog, you might wonder; Why the hell do i put my own name as the blog title? Right? Right? LOL. Well, if you don't wonder then, you might wonder now as I already brought up the question. Haha. Well here how the story goes:
One fine day, i just decide to start up a blog. I was bored. Nuff said. So i know blogspot is the simplest form to blog in for a rookie like me. So while i was constructing my blog, you have to fill in the URL for your blog. Being the genius i am, somehow i fill in the URL into the blog's title space. So you see, my blog's URL is suppose to be sabrina.mahmood.blogspot.com. But instead it came out as the blog title. Something along that line. Bla bla bla. I won't bore you with the details =).So after a while i notice that my blog title is suppose to be my URL. Then i was like, "yeah.. let it be laa". I was just not creative enough to come out with a new blog's name (lazy as well). On top of that I do not know what i want to write in my blog. So i guess my own name as the blog's title would be fitting as for now =).And no, i do not name my blog with my own name out of vanity =). LOL.
The good thing about being at rock bottom is that yo
u can't possibly go lower that that. Because you are already at the lowest of the lowest. Another good thing is that while you are at rock bottom usually you have nothing else to lose. So i say take this opportunity to dive into anything you have always wanted to do, or dreamed of doing. Coz really, what do you have to lose? You only have something to gain. Then perhaps while you are floating back up to the surface, you have already transformed into someone you have always dreamed of being.
There are currently a few things i find interesting. It is renewed interest or perhaps new-found ones. So here goes my wall of fame for what interest me:
i) Traveling: Ah, everybody likes traveling. I simply love traveling especially since i came to Australia 2 years ago. Someone once said " He who has not traveled has only read one page of a book." Or something like that =). So far i have been to all continents in this world except South America. And i wish to do so in the future =). A few months ago I went traveling across Europe. I have been to Europe a few times before, but it was with my parents. But this time i went alone. I indeed learned a lot of things; maybe because i went alone. LOL. However i did meet up with a lot of great friends over there, as well as making new ones =). I am looking forward to travel again in the future, and perhaps i don't mind doing it alone =).
ii) Fashion: Owh my skinny jeans ! LOL. Since i came to Australia i have more free time, and somewhere along the way i fell in love with fashion. But i prefer looking compared to taking the effort to put on accessories, or putting on clothes that takes time (skinny jeans). My bad ;).iii) Photography: My earliest memory of me expressing interest in photography was when i was 14 years old. I was in London that t
ime with my parents, and i was crazy about taking pictures of panorama, perspectives, awesome backgrounds, etc. Though i can't take too much of it as back then we were still using a camera with film. Yes, no compact cameras that time. And now, that interest is coming back again.iv) Music: Now i hang out with a few music orientated friends. So it
rubs off you see. I used to be one of this pop girl. You know, the one that "i-don't-care-if-Britney-is-lip syncing-i'm-still-going". Britneyyyy!!!!! And i am still one. Hee =). But now i dig rockability a bit, along with other stuff =).
